I'm sorry it has been so long since my last post...it has been a really hectic week! And, Supper Club has been very busy. So, let's get started & play catch-up on what's been going on...
Last weekend, the Wiggins' held their first ever "Kettles of Fire" Chili Cookoff. And, the weather was perfect...it was "chili" that night (and rainy). Everything was decorated with hot peppers and chilis & there were tons of crock-pots filled with everyone's personal chili-creation. After everyone had sampled all the cookoff entries, Beth handed out prizes for the winners. Two Supper Clubbers actually won...Shannon won "best all-around" chili & I won "sweetest" chili (I think it was so sweet because I stirred it with my finger!) The kids then took turns hitting the chili-pepper pinata. After the crowd cleared out, we had a blast playing "Taboo" and listening to the guys "intoxicated" answers. It was a lot of fun. As soon as I get the chili cookoff pictures from Beth, I will be sure to post them!
The next night, we were all back at the Wiggins' for Supper Club where we enjoyed some great lasagna & garlic bread. After eating, we let the kids draw names to exchange for Christmas...they really enjoyed that. We're going to let them exchange on Monday, December 22 at card game.
Last night, the city had their Christmas parade. Molly & I rode on her dance group's float & Caroline & Tracy rode in a convertible for Caroline's "many" pageant titles.
When the parade was over, we headed over to EGC to watch Beth perform her dances for Beta Lites....that was hilarious! Just look at white-girl busting a move:

We would all like to send our get-well wishes to Shannon. After an unfortunate farm accident, he will be undergoing surgery today on his leg. We are all praying that the surgery goes smoothly & as planned. We love you, Shannon & are ready for you to come home soon!
