Happy Birthday, Leah!

The baby of our Supper Club turned 2 years old Saturday! Happy Birthday, "Baby Leah"! She had a wonderful birthday party at her home & the kids really enjoyed bouncing and swinging! Here are a few pictures from the party...

She had a cupcake cake made of cupcakes...too cute & too delicious!

Molly & Jaxson enjoyed their "little table"...

Dana had a lot of fun opening presents...

She is just too precious...

Caroline competed in the Pine Tree Festival pageant Saturday and got 1st runner-up. Congratulations, Caroline!

Supper Clubbers gathered at the Griner's for a pure feast last night! We enjoyed some great bbq ribs, garden peas, corn-on-the-cob, cole slaw, and biscuits. Dessert was an apple crisp served hot with vanilla ice cream...mmm.mmm! Stacy definitely redeemed herself from the so-called "dumpling incident" ;)

This Weekend...

Well, the guys have finally headed off on their annual fishing trip. They left a little later than expected last night, but Molly & I sent them off with full bellies and 4 sacks full of candy (mainly for Clay...he really has a sweet tooth)! They have finally made it & were headed out on the river the last time I talked to them. We wish them a fun & safe trip and cannot wait to hear their stories when they get back (the one's that they can tell us, of course!)

While the guys are relaxing on the river, the rest of us all have busy weekends ahead of us. We wish Caroline good luck as she and the rest of the Mason clan head to Savannah Saturday for a dance competition. We know you'll do great Caroline...Break a leg! (But not literally)

Saturday is also the Kite Founder's Day. We hope that all the Supper Clubbers (that are still around town) will be able to come out & enjoy the day with us. Molly will be racing her turtle (named turtle-y) in the turtle race & we're hoping for a 1st place ribbon!

We hope everyone has a good weekend & we'll see you Sunday!

Mason's Supper Club

Sunday, we enjoyed a delicious Supper Club meal at the Mason's. We had boston butt, mac-n-cheese (made with spaghetti noodles), baked beans and creamed corn. For dessert, we had hot brownies served with ice cream on top! The kids enjoyed eating their supper at the little picnic table on the back porch...not that they really ate that much! They were all too interested in getting upstairs to the playroom! After supper, we all enjoyed socializing with each other & of course, playing the Wii!
