Keeping You On Your Toes...

Every once in a while, we like to keep Supper Clubbers on their toes. Hence, last night. We'd had a really long day at the farm & just couldn't seem to tear away from fishing long enough to get in home in time to cook supper, so...we just took everyone out to eat at Zaxby's! I know, we took the lazy way out...but, it was pretty good! And, hey, I'm married to the "puppetmaster"...so, we can pull a fast one like that from time to time!

Let's Party!

Riley celebrated his 4th birthday with a John Deere Party last Friday afternoon. Everything was decorated with green & yellow, and he even had a John Deere tractor cake!
The kids really enjoyed watching Riley open all of his presents and then playing on the playground. It was such a nice party & everyone had a really great time!

I hope everyone had a really great Mother's Day with their families! We look forward to seeing you all again at Supper Club this weekend!

Japanese, Bowling & Birthdays!

This weekend several supper club families met up at one of our favorite Japanese restaurants for a wonderful meal cooked right in front of us! We even ended the meal with everyone singing "Happy Birthday" (in Japanese) to little Riley (who will be 4 this Wednesday). Then, we ventured out into unknown territory & took the kids bowling! And, boy, was it fun...and funny! The kids loved it...and I think all the adults had a pretty great time, too!

I'm ready to go again!

Last night, we had Supper Club at the Wiggins'. It is so great having warm weather finally here, so the kids can play outside until supper time. We had a great meal featuring hamburger steaks, meatballs (for the kids), butter beans, peas, broccoli & cheese, rice & gravy and biscuits. For dessert, there were birthday cupcakes for Leah & Riley and a birthday key-lime pie for Clay. Beth had also baked lemon pies and hershey pies, too! Yum-yum!
